This WeatherShield HD fabric, developed primarily for intense sun environments and long-term storage, is fade resistant, sheds moisture, stops dust, dirt, and bird droppings, and is very water resistant and breathable. It uses heavier denier thread for maximum UV opacity, with a 300 denier fiber construction that results in almost double the tear and tensile strength compared to the WeatherShield HP, finished with the same great EPIC by Nextec encapsulation process.

The cover is custom-made to hug every contour of the specific vehicle, and most of these made-to-measure covers have sewn-in mirror pockets. It is approximately 40 percent heavier than the WeatherShield HP, but the heavier fibers are not as silky-smooth.
